Hi, I’m Jeff. I like learning and making things.
Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Block Center for Technology and Society at Carnegie Mellon University, and Research Lead at Plurality Institute. I recently completed my PhD at Harvard University.
My research focuses on how we make collective decisions with and about emerging digital technologies. Methodologically, I blend perspectives from statistics, economics, and science & technology studies (STS).
Outside of research, I enjoy writing, making art, reading, sewing, and riding my bike.
