Today’s challenge was to work on drawing mugs with handles. I learned a good trick for making rims but need to practice more of drawing precise concentric ellipses. I think this is something I can practice a lot. In terms of carving out handles from boxes, I get the idea, but also need to practice more with keeping lines light but also accurate and darkening gradually. I think practicing more precision when I practice will be helpful. I wound up doing a bunch more practicing drawing lines in particular places and orientations; I practiced drawing concentric ellipses. I practiced drawing some boxes, but could and will practice more.
